Welcome to the future…
You've just landed on an Edublogs Campus page at our sample site, The University of Blogs, that demonstrates how these tools could change the way you teach, learn, research, discuss and publish
This particular sample site is using the CommentPress theme - this theme allows for readers to simply annotate every paragraph that they read, leaving comments and having discussions within and around the text.
The text in question is a paper by James Farmer (founder of Edublogs) from 2004 - some of the comments are copied from a blog post made at around the same time.
Check out the left hand side for the different elements of the paper, and the right hand side for recent comments.
You can also browse comments by commentator or general comments.
And, of course, one user can have multiple different blogs - one for each published paper if they wish. Some of our Unlimited License users have over 20,000 blogs in total... that's around one cent, per blog, per week!
We hope you enjoy playing around (please remember all edits get wiped every hour so we can keep the sandpit nice and clean - if you want to try more, talk to us about a getting started at your institution.
