<p>First up, it&#8217;s quite possible to maintain a sense of branding, while at the same time allowing individuality in blog design. You can allow your <a href="http://universityofblogs.com/sampleprofessor/wp-admin/wpmu-themes.php">users as many or as few themes </a>as you like &#8211; and control to what degree they are customized as the master admin of the site.</p>

<p>Of course, a blog can be scholarly or used for teaching, or both &#8211; in fact, once a user has a username, it&#8217;s extremely easy for them to set up as many blogs as they want &#8211; for different classes or different purposes.</p>
<p>Finally, for this example, it&#8217;s also extremely easy for academics to integrate videos, podcasts or any other media into their site &#8211; in order to share it with their peers or students.</p>
