Of course, a blog can be scholarly or used for teaching, or both – in fact, once a user has a username, it’s extremely easy for them to set up as many blogs as they want – for different classes or different purposes.

Finally, for this example, it’s also extremely easy for academics to integrate videos, podcasts or any other media into their site – in order to share it with their peers or students.
